Job Description


We are currently growing our Data Engineering team based in Barcelona to work for a luxury goods group based in Switzerland.

The team is responsible for developing dataflows, orchestrated by Airflow, where data is extracted from the internal systems, transformed using DBT and stored into Big Query. You will be working in an agile environment alongside a team of experts, using the latest technologies from GCP and following best practices.

You will get a chance to learn about the luxury goods business and get an insight of how the different brands of the group work, while becoming responsible for the data of one of the domains or brands.

Though the team will be based in Barcelona, you'll be working in an international environment having daily communication with the headquarters in Switzerland.


Requirements


Mandatory:


  • Experience with:
    • Google Cloud Platform
    • Big Query
    • CI/CD in an Agile organization
    • Designing and building data pipelines
  • Conversational English level (B2)
  • EU work permit

 Nice-to-have:


  • Software development related degree (3+ years)
  • Knowledge of:
    • Apache Airflow, 
    • DBT 
    • Great Expectations
    • Airbyte
    • Looker
